Our factory sits in Arganil, between the granite and the pine forests of the Serra do Açor. This is where the tone of the brand comes from: honest, discreet, solid, unhurried. The landscape gets into the work, into the restraint of the colours, into the wish to make garments that outlast a season.
The craft
All made by us, since 1981
The factory behind Carlo Viscontti, AMMA 1981, was founded in 1981 and has been in full production for more than forty years, in the heart of the Serra do Açor.
We do not outsource: every suit is built from scratch, with half-canvas construction and the canvas stitched, never glued. That is what makes the difference after a few years, when the shape holds just as it did on the first day.

Forty-five, numbered
Within the Da Serra AW26/27 collection there is a limited edition: forty-five suits in Zegna cloth, each with a hand-numbered label — one for each year of the house, since 1981. Cut and assembled in Arganil, like everything we make. Once the forty-five are done, the capsule closes.
